The experience of sound is a personal one, a subjective one. It isn't just physics. The vibrations our ear drums pick up get translated into electrical signals that our brains process and interpret as sound. At least part of what makes sound apen is in our heads. And i have no way of knowing if what you hear and what i hear sounds the same,. Even if it's coming from the same source.
