The Importance of Visiting Public Health Professorships in Ireland
The idea of a visiting public health professorship was developed by Dr. Holland and Robert Walsh over kind of February and March, with the knowledge of Martin Fraser. This all emerges as a result of an Irish Times inquiry about Dr. Holland's future. The report is critical of the manner in which this whole process was put together. It's critical of the extent of the involvement of Dr. Holland in aspects of the deal. Questions emerged over the governance of that decision-making process. There is an open question really as to how that figure was arrived at.
