The Fashion Industry Has a Role to Play in the Global South
Clare bird camp is the chief operating officer of textile exchange, non profit trying to help the fashion industry become more sustainable. She says it's currently up to individual brands whether they choose to pay to convert their factories to run on renewable energy. Washing your clothes in cooler water or hanging it out to dry in the sun, can all lower the energy used an the disposal of the products.
