The History of the Wright Flyer
The Wright brothers made history by flying a powered, piloted, controlled aircraft known as the Wright Flyer. The Smithsonian Institution honored Langley and his aerodrome as the first vehicle capable of powered controlled flight. A competitor of the Wright brothers named Glenn Curtis came asking for the broken bits of Langley's aerodrome to make it fly. Did Curtis succeed? We'll find out after quiz time.
