Changes to the QOF
There are some changes around childhood immunization, which will hopefully go some way to addressing some real problems practices have faced in the last two years since targets were moved into the QOF. The repayment system that meant practices that felt hit 80% immunization coverage and had to give money back is going to be removed. All of the points practices usually receive for maintaining QOF disease registers will automatically be awarded to practices based on 2022-23 figures. That's going to actually reduce the overall number of QOF indicators from 74 to 55 - an extra £97 million of funding will go directly to practices rather than being in the Q OF.
