What Happens if Dark Energy Stays the Same?
If dark energy stays constant, the observable fraction of the universe gets smaller and smaller as time goes on. We don't think in that scenario, the galaxy will get ripped apart. But our galaxy will become more and more isolated relative to other galaxies. Future astronomers will look up at the night sky and only see stars in our galaxy.
