Is Your Child Ready for a Phone?
I have no problem with parents checking their kids' phones, especially young kids. I think as a rule, we should be above board about it. If you feel the need to have total control and supervise that closely, then is this kid really ready for a phone? Or is this child really ready for an iPhone they leave the house with or go to their bedroom with? Those are the places I'd want parents to kind of wrestle with.
