The Promise of Forgiveness, the Promise of Pardon

In the old testament, there is a promise that one day god will relate to his people in a new and unique way. There be a day coming in the new covenant where god would only relate to us as loved and accepted friends and children,. All through the messiah jesus, who would come and make this a reality for us. Jesus comes and lives the perfect life. He dies, he rises, he ascends and sends the holy spirit on the church via faith.
