I want you is largely the work of a man named James Montgomery flag who draws up these posters in World War One. The original ones were in July of 1916 and the title under it was what are you doing for preparedness right? It's aimed at people on the home front and everyone you know but the one that I think people really came to you know really associate with Uncle Sam was this pointing.
