Having someone that is somehow external a to your financial situation, who can look at sort of the overall a arc of what it is,. not only your current situation, but also where you want to go in life. That's my biggest recommendation. I budget for it every year. And i really greatly trust and appreciate my financial adviser at the new school of finance - she's just given me the confidence to manage my funds. She has just totally empowered me, am to make tons of really big life changes that
