The Liturgy Wars Are Real

It's a demographic issue in many ways. The older generation in the 70s and the 80s, either they never bought the nonsense that got started or they really bought into it. They're the ones that frankly can make hell on earth for a young priest. I have an example recently in another country where a young priest was reported to the papal nuncio because he was making these types of changes. But so the liturgy wars are very real. And it's not an accident that in this pontificate, these liturgical wars have reignited in a mighty, mighty way.
