Is the Universe Expanding?

If you were a species seven billion years ago, your outlook on the universe would have been very different. We don't know for sure that all of the fundamental priameters describing physical reality have been constant throughout the last thirteen point eight billion years or into the future. There there's the possibility that things that determine, for example, how strongly molecules are bound together, is a possibility that fundamental aspectsof the universe change a little bit over type tiny, tiny amounts. And so one of the things i speculated on is, well, what if, back in the past or in the future, an other species exists in almost an alternate universe, even though it's our universe? How alien
