The Rise of Cryptocurrencies in the US
The Securities and Exchange Commission has been around for a long time in the US. Gary Gensler is now basically saying that everything that is crypto should be handled in very much the same way as normal securities. He picked the fight, and he picked the fight a while ago with Ripple. Ripple was a cryptocurrency that was a blockchain-based concept but not entirelycrypto.
