How to Plan a Wedding in the US

I would like some sort of not in the US portion of a wedding. I don't know if you guys can tell, but I don't really think about relationships that often. My roommate just got engaged and are my one lab mate also got engaged last year,. But she's planning her wedding in Italy and not going unfortunately. It's very popular now to do like three day weddings where it's like, yeah, like the night before you go to a bar for some place to just like party and drink.
