The Multiverse of Fatalism

The purpose here is to create a contrast between the idea of multiplicity or infinity and destiny or fatalism. That's where I think ultimately the story gains its true richness. We don't even get the start because it doesn't matter. It's already doomed, right? Madison has found him out there's only one thing he can do, which is to destroy his family history and reputation for nothing.
