Introduction

This week on people fixing the world from the bbe c world service, we find the people who are trying to do just that. This week i'm joined by somebody who knows a lot about the environment and has been reporting on it for the bb c for many years, tom heap. He's spent the last year tracking down promising solutions to climate change. We've teamed up with scientists from the royal geographical society here in london to work out what impact all these ideas could have on our greenhouse gas omissions. There'll be teachers involved as well as business men and women and engineers, everyone putting their shoulder to the wheel.
