Cats and Dog Breeds - What's the Origin of Bo Peep?

Your cat is called bau, not as n bo brummel bang, but as in ba peep. And yes, we didn't give her the name bo peep. It seemed quite sweet, cause my kids were a lot younger when we got her from battersea. Battersea is a cat and dog rescue e which has been going for many, many years. They have lots of stations elsewhere in britain as well. We've kept her, we don't ever call her peep. We just call her bow. I wonder what the origin of bo peep is.
