Early Christian Images of Eve
Many of the images of adam and eve from early christianity focus on the idea of the fall and original sin. In these texts that were written by or influenced by early christian women, very often the depiction of Eve was a lot more positive and redemptive than a simple, you know, negative characterization. Sometimes she is a model of piety. She's almost like a prophet, a prophetess. And there are many different ways of understanding eve's place in in christianity to day.
