Trauma - How Did You Become Interested in Trauma?

I got interested in trauma really in 1978, when I was teaching three-day clinic lipnosis courses. And the first cases of trauma that I treated were kids who were in Operation Phoenix. They were trained to be little killing machines and kill an entire village at night. That was my trial by fire exposure to treating victims of extreme trauma. So I promised Sarah before she died that I would do whatever I could to continue the trauma field and put it on the map.
