There's no actual response in it. There's an implicit lessening of the badness of whatever it is that they're doing, but there's no actually response inIt. They are allowing themselves to not have to say, I don't think my behavior is bad by moving the playing field away because that would make them look bad in a certain way. And so you can kind of separate out sometimes the egg white from the egg yolk a little bit here of the interaction. That's also really, really effective in our relationships with other people.

Dr. Rick and Forrest open up the mailbag and answer questions from listeners related to how we can build better relationships (particularly with our families) and deal with difficult people.
