The Relationship Between Genes and Personality

Genome wide association study basically means I take thousands of research subjects and measure their genome and I measure their personality. And I start to relate every individual segment of their genome I can measure to their personality. Then I don't know what our relationships are yet in other cases when it doesn't come to personality for example for smoking the biggest signal is in a gene that's part of the nicotinic receptor complex. For number of drinks you would drink in a given week we find a snips or genetic variation genetic parts of the genome that are in a gene That includes processes of alcohol in your liver.
