How Do You Write a Screenplay?

Hampshire students are really smart, they have great ideas. They absorb all the stuff that we were talking about And then they bring in their scenes. The scenes didn't capture all that they were really trying to capture. There was a disconnect and our teaching had to go deep into that act. It turned out there was a whole book in our minds that was about that.
