The Stardust's Journey to South America
Avro Lancaster called the Stardust took off from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Santiago, Chile. The flight crew were all veterans of the Royal Air Force. Before takeoff, the pilot examined a weather chart. A blizzard raged in the Andes and it would be nearly impossible to see through storm.
