The Amazons - The Legendary Group of Warrior Women
The story tells us that the amazons, the legendary group of ferocious warrior women, actually fought in the trojan war. According to tradition, the amazons were an entirely female society. They only mixed with men for the strict purposes of reproduction. Any male children were either abandoned or returned to their thers. The amazon women were renowned in the age of heroes as being the greatest society of soldiers known to the greeks. Their speed, strength and talent with weapons was unmatched. But famously, achilles was all but invulnerable, save for that pescy bum heel.
