Is There a Role for Direct Action in Climate Change?
There is a role for direct action in climate campaigning and the wider political scene. We need to reduce the amount of fossil fuel we use as soociety. That needs to be done in a managed way that doesn't unfairly impact those who can least afford it, or are least able to take alternative forms of trans. There is for individual behaviour changed to reduce your carbon omissions. But that's not enough on its own. The whole green movement has got better at communicating that what we need is system change, rather than individual behaviour change.
