We just haven't been around systems that are capable of producing reams of text that seem plausible before. And so, yeah, there is this question, well, the only thing I've seen before that does something like this is a human being. Therefore, you might make this cognitive leap to, well, there must be something going on inside it. That makes a lot of sense to me. It is interesting just because, yes, whatever is going on inside these systems.
