Is It Really Possible to Get Your Results Published?
In university, you were taught to take apart the ecosystem and study these parts objectively. You soon learned that it was almost impossible for a study of the diversity and connectivity of the whole ecosystem to get into print. "I couldn't get it published because it was just, there was too many parts in it," he says. In academia, academics put them in these little bite-sized pieces like microbiology or even remote sensing.
