How to Dial Down Chronic Pain
There's another one from the book I really want to share. It works especially well if you have some sort of chronic pain that comes back when you're anxious. So maybe you're like, okay, my face feels really hot and itchy right now. And then you look for a place in your body where you feel, I like to think of it as nothing, but like neutral, calm, nothing. That can help dial down the intensity. Anyone who's had chronic pain knows, even if you can dial it down, just a notch or two is going to bring significant relief.
