Containerized Cargo Changed Everything in the Economy

The factories that provided jobs to a lot of people who lived near the water front were gone. Containerization gave an incredible booth to the global economy, reducing prices for people in rich countries and creating opportunities for literally hundreds of millions of people in asia to work their way out of poverty.
