The Half Life of EPO
The biological passport hasn't gotten anyone caught since like 2014. It doesn't really work as it's intended to work, he says. To think that it's impossible for someone to dope and not get caught is just not true. The half life of EPO - if you're micro dosing or injecting smaller amounts -- the detectable window is really short. If you inject it just as the testing window out of competition shots, I think it's 11pm, it shuts and opens it six a.m. So in terms of actually detecting it in someone and the molecule is the same as the natural EPO, so you can't figure out testosterone, we can figure out synthetic amount.
