The Battle of Chin Ju
After the battle, the samurai force many of the local women into service as sex slaves. According to historian stephen turnbull, some of them try and escape by jumping into the river, but the japan s fish them out and behead as many as they can. They take upwards of 20 thousand human heads. There's a shrine still standing in south carea today called righteous rock that honors her story.
