The Origins of the Monroe Institute

Bob Greene talks about how he made the transition from radial mogul to being at the forefront of Western consciousness exploration. In 1956, his company had been in broadcasting in the production of radio TV programs and we were just moving over into TV. After some 10 years of one thing and just adding a picture to it, it didn't seem to be very exciting stuff. So we began to look for something else. One of the things that we did was set up in R&D program, utilizing sound, which is something that we knew much about professionally and every other way, to in turn help people learn things during sleep.
