Using Machine Learning to Power Discovery of Diseases
The company is focusing on cancer to begin with, an looking at veriou scancer types. And we wanted to power discovery across all diseases by studying all of them at the same time. The motivation for that came from from transfer learning, in that there is a concept of whatis called transfer learning. It allows you to take machine learning models trained on a set of tasks and apply them to different but related tasks.
