Trade Gold Internationally With the London Bullion Market Association
The london bullion market association is effectively the only place where you can trade gold internationally in the world. They have all these bricks of 12 and a half kilograms of gold, about 400 ounces of gold each. And then they put make them into uniform bars with serealized numbers. So if you want to trade gold internationally, you can only do it with the gold bricks that exist in that system. It's very difficult for the russian central bank to use gold as a monetary assect.
