The Importance of Union Jobs in the Budget
I think that the real risk is really in the messaging for the liberals because they're sounding worried about all the wrong problems and not about what people are actually living. So that disconnect, I think is maybe even more than a missed opportunity for them on the budget. It could be really risky. There's great ground there to be had to be talking about an industrial policy that's first and foremost policy about good family sustaining jobs. But nobody has really taken up that space yet. And if it's around tax hikes or scooping retained earnings from small businesses et cetera, you know, that would be very newsworthy.
