The Divergent Mind Set, the Convergent Mindset

If you are going into an uncertain environment or a hostile ragion. You're adopting a convergent philosophy by using the history as a pass to say that i know how to navigate to work to morrow, and there's going to be very few risk events in that sequence. But when the environment is foreign or new. So let's say weare now going out to a new planet in the solar system we've never discovered before. We've got no track record to rely on,. There's uncertainty embedded in the risk events that lie as soon as we land on that planet. They would have to adopt the divergent philosophy to address a much wider gambet of possible risk events.
