The Clean Energy Minerals Reform Act would significantly update the 150 year old way of dealing with mining claims on public lands. For Lewis this means that we need new laws that will help land managers evaluate the true impact of each mining project. We want to set up structures that enable us to make those hard decisions with the best information, he says.
