Is Everybody in the City of Tomorrow?

Piko Eyer is the author of a dozen books, often with a cross-cultural theme. Among his latest is Autumn Light, in which he takes us three train transfers from Kyoto to Japan. He's also released a collection of observations and provocations that he calls a beginner's guide to Japan. Piko describes his friendship with the Dalai Lama in an extra to today's show.
