The Importance of Humor in the Gospel of Peter

Jesus is described in the account in the gospel of Peter as being surprisingly tall and certainly taller than an NBA player but tall indeed so once again the heads of the two reached up to the sky but the head of the one they were leading went up above the skies. They heard a voice from the skies saying have you preached to those who are asleep and a reply came not from any of the three men who were present tall as they might be but from the cross that was following them.
