Evolutionary science is based on these very issunes. One, healthy variation, healthy selection, healthy retention in the right context leads to adaptation. If any of those issues er, er, seem to not work, well, r if there is no healthy variation, no selection, retention can happen. And therape is a process working toward that. It really mad it mattrus. What the context is whether it's adaptif or not.
