Mimetic icons are seen as foundations rather than final pieces of creative output fit for consumption. It seems like the entire point of nouns is basically to remix the nouns meme and proliferate it. I would say, you know, from my vantage point, because I think everyone creates a little bit differently, they are very much an art piece in and of themselves.
