The Converse Werewolf
The converse werewolf is said to have appeared in the area around San Antonio 150 years ago. The story says that a rancher sent his son out hunting and told him not to come back until he had a deer. But after days of being devoured by some kind of monster, the father decided to go looking for what was left of his son. There's no ongoing lore about a werewolf type monster in the area where this incident took place. It just sounds like more of an urban legend than a real folk tale.
