The Effect of Echo Chambers on People
I want to specifically ask you about echo chambers, which is something you talk about in your book. It's something that everybody who works in this field, I think talks about to one degree or another. And there's anywhere in my life that I exist outside of an echo chamber anymore. The theory is that if everyone lives in their own personalized form of democracy where you're self selecting the viewpoints that you're exposed to then people become more convinced of the beliefs they are being reinforced with.
