What Are the Basics of Estate Planning in Pennsylvania?
A holographic will is a will that someone, you know, can scratch on a napkin on a post-it note. In Pennsylvania in order for a will technically to be valid, all that it needs to be is to be written down either type or handwritten and signed at the end. If you don't have a self-proving affidavit, then there could be issues at the probate where the people who witnessed it have to sign an affidavit saying that they saw you sign.
