I did a review of Patrick Dennings, who was a conservative Catholic book called why liberalism failed. He and I debated along with Frank Fukuyama and Cornell West on the future of liberalism. And I said to Patrick what's your alternative. What sort of society would we have if there hadn't been the liberty movement. 17th century nightmare.
