She told her friend laurie that she wanted to go to the police, but didn't want mam to know. ebby never went back to daniel's house; he saw her on saturday morning before she left for home. He tried to get in touch with ebbie after they were both sick from drinking too much during their dinner date. Ebbie did not return his calls or visit him until two days later.
