Holding Companies

A good holding company is one that can take cash floes from a variety businesses, tant it's holding, and re deploy them in a high return area. And so that's why they've always appealed to me. There are a number of good holding companies. Obviously berkshire was as one kind of holding company,. But there's also the lifcos of the world, like you have in swedens, also a holding company. That structure can work really well if you have a culture at the top that, folksis on return on capital and those sorts of considerations.
