The Battle Over AP African American Studies
In August, roughly 60 schools introduced a pilot course for AP African American studies. Florida education officials decided to ban the course and will not let it be taught in high schools there. We'll find out what happens if this AP course lands in detention. And we'll get a lesson from two of the contributors to one of the most hotly debated black historical works: The 1619 Project.
