Coaching - Is There a Way to Be More Like a Coach?
Coaching is about helping people plot their way from point A to point B, but it seems to me that's an overly simplistic approach. What I tell my students is that the person that you're coaching isn't the person that's naming the pursuit. If they could see that the objective, they already would have done that. They're going to have to change themselves in some fashion, activate a new part of themselves,. learn a new skill, get a bit more courage, whatever. And let's talk a bit about what we're noticing back and see what hints we might get about where we're going.
