The Church Is Our Best Hope for Race Justice

I would not say that the church has really owned up to that call in a significant way, at least not in my lifetime. It looks like churches and denominations and stream sectors of the christian world am taking on the question of truth telling. And it will take going to those who have been i ted and asking, as david asked the gibeonites, what do you say we need to do in order for things to be made well with you? That's how we repent. We allow ourselves to simply be human. And we share the responsibility of making decisions that shakes a world.
